BEGIN. this blog is predominantly plot-based. i will not be doing starter calls, but i will reblog memes and post plotting calls. the version of michael that is written on this blog is an amalgamation of canon source materials — including some that are lesser known than others — and because of this i encourage you to read the dossier. i very much write michael as a whole ass person; yes, he is the shape. he is this masked, obscure entity. but he is also an intelligent, thinking being underneath that. he spent most of his life at smith's grove as michael myers — not as an ambiguous presence. although he is an enigma to those around him, he is ( for much of his life ) conscious of his own self and identity. this will be reflected in my writing via descriptions and internal dialogues.WRITING. mutuals only. feel free to continue asks / memes! there won't be any one-liners on this blog for uhhh obvious reasons. i do tend towards 2+ paragraph replies.TRIGGERS. due to the nature of the source material, this blog is classified as highly triggering. there will be allusions to and descriptions of violence, gore, and mutilation –– including animal death. i will tag my posts accordingly ( ie. “trigger tw/” ), except for in the case of general violence and death. i’ll also tag anything that you specify in your rules. unlike my other blogs, this dash will mostly be 18+ only. exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.SHIPPING. help, it's michael myers. he has zero inclination towards love or affection; the closest approximate is obsession, and even this is rooted in compulsion rather than emotion. i'm happy to plot out dynamics ( because shipping isn't inherently romantic ), but please keep in mind that they will necessarily be unhealthy. michael is arbitrarily violent at worst and dangerously manipulative at best. i do not write smut, as it makes me real uncomfy i'm ngl.FOLLOWING. i will only follow people who i am interested in interacting with. i don’t give a yeet or a yote about formatting and aesthetics; all i look at is the ability of our characters to interact in one verse or another and whether our writing styles will mesh. if i’m following you, i wanna write with you. i am duplicate friendly.

UNFOLLOWING. if you whitewash, i will block. if you engage in any racist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory behaviour, i will block. if you write or excuse pedophilia, i will question your morality and block. hate and drama won’t be tolerated; if you send it in, i’ll delete it and block your salty self. be nice or perish. literally just don't be a freak and we won't have a problem, yenno?MAINS. i love mains! if we’ve written together and spoken ooc, feel free to approach me about it. i do not practice exclusivity!CALLOUTS. i don't reblog them. i do read them. i disregard them if they are old and if the person in question has made a conscious effort to apologize, hold themselves accountable, and change their behaviour. i do not expect others to hold this same mentality, but i expect to be respected for my own choices. i believe in the human capacity for change. chronic predators (ie. matt) and those who have made no effort to address their behaviour and apologize can get fucked.FORMATTING. my default formatting is comprised of small text, colours, and icons. i am more than okay with iconless threads. i will adjust my formatting for anybody who has any troubles with spacing or colour MISC. graphics are made by me. if you steal them, i will give you a paper cut between your thumb and index finger. base images are sourced from pinterest. if you have any questions / concerns about something not mentioned herein, don’t be afraid to ask!OOC. henlo, i’m nina. i graduated with an honours bachelor degree in criminology and forensic psychology in april, 2021. i am pursuing my masters degree in the same field. i recently turned 22 years old. mixed but white-passing as hell. i'm very interactive on the dash in terms of liking and commenting on mutuals' posts 🥺. discord is available upon request! i swear i’m v soft, but i'm terrible,,, just the WORST at answering messages bc i’m easily overwhelmed!!! ily all so much. stay safe and stay groovy. you can also find me at delinqent and wldflwers ( i write huntress, plague, and a handful of other horror-based muses over there. )

note on portrayal and the integration of source materials: physical description and specific personality traits are based on the novelization of the original screenplay (halloween, 1979, by richards and carpenter); backstory and physical abilities are based on the screenplay and halloween (1978 and 2018 / 21); personality progression and sanity degradation are based on halloween (2018 / 21) and its novelization; chronology of events adhere to the final timeline (halloween 1978 + 2018 / 21). blonde twink michael rights or whatever. i don't default to writing michael and laurie as siblings.

POSTURE: stiff, controlled
SCARS: numerous offensive wounds; most notably, a circular puncture scar on the left side of his neck and a large scar spanning down the right side of his face

DEFINING TRAITS: patient, curious, manipulative, violent, aloof, vindictive, intelligent, obsessive, sense of humour.ANTI-SOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER: michael presents with an extreme manifestation of ASPD, showing no regard for life whatsoever — be it human or animal. he displays no sense of morality, empathy, or remorse; this emotional and moral deficiency became gradually worse with age. michael displays no interest, enthusiasm, or concern for anyone or anything. he is as capable of enacting arbitrary violence as he is exhibiting inhuman levels of patience and restraint.   ==MANIPULATION:==** despite being the youngest person at smith's grove by some nine years, michael quickly asserts himself as a presence to be feared and respected. it is this sense of fear that, over the years, establishes him as a ruling force within the sanitarium. because of this, he is able to convince inmates and staff alike to do things on his behalf. the only person who seems somewhat immune to his fear-based manipulation is dr. loomis, who watches michael slowly establish a monopoly over the internal power processes of smith's grove with disgust. this ability to manipulate later twists his relationship with dr. sartain, who is so enthralled with the idea of michael and of evil that he helps him escape from smith's grove a second time. despite this, michael later kills sartain, demonstrating that he has no respect for moral or ethical obligations, nor any intent to practice mercy.  ==VINDICTIVENESS:==** in appearance alone, michael seems to take things in stride. he presents as patient and subdued, accepting slights with a shrug or with no reaction at all. however, without fail, those who offend him in any capacity receive their just desserts. nobody is ever safe; hours or days or weeks may pass, but michael's patience does not equate to forgiveness. he responds to minor affronts with violence and malice, typically by enacting some sort of physical damage. for example, a nurse who argued with michael fell down the stairs two days later, fracturing her pelvis. a boy who borrowed a game from him and forgot to return it suffered a rash so severe he was hospitalized for a month.

CONGENITAL INSENSITIVITY: due to this rare condition, michael does not feel nor understand pain. he is capable of taking damage ( ie. revolver shot from laurie ) and walking it off as if nothing happened. when he responds verbally to damage it is due to surprise or rage rather than a sense of pain. this condition, too, becomes more severe with age; by the time he escapes from smith's grove a second time, michael does not respond to any physical damage he sustains.   **==DURABILITY:==** michael's extreme tolerance for pain and injury makes him functionally unstoppable. he is shown to be able to take bullet wounds, stab wounds, and falls with relative ease. during the first haddonfield killing spree alone, michael was stabbed in the stomach, stabbed in the neck, stabbed in the eye, shot six times, and fell off a balcony. moments later, he simply got back to his feet and disappeared into the night. this capacity for superhuman durability seems intricately linked to halloween / samhain, which is when he is at his most powerful.STRENGTH: during his murderous rampages, michael displays an unimaginable strength that is unrivaled by the efforts of any of his victims. for example, during the first haddonfield killing spree, he is able to grab bob by the throat with one hand, pick him up, slam against the door, and choke him. he then stabs him with so much force that the blade goes through his body and into the door, holding him in place several inches off the ground. this capacity for superhuman strength seems intricately linked to halloween / samhain, which is when he is at his most powerful.TELEPORTATION: this has never been proven nor directly witnessed. sam loomis speculates that something is amiss due to michael's ability to disappear from crime scenes / incidences that he was clearly involved in within seconds, thereby escaping retribution. because he is never there when things go wrong in smith's grove, loomis is unable to prove that they are his fault. this uncanny ability to seemingly disappear persists when he escapes; michael seems to be able to vanish into thin air within mere moments.

in the following months there were more "occurrences," and in loomis' mind there was no doubt whom to ascribe them to. every time michael was slighted, or fancied he was, by a staff member or another inmate, some awful vengeance was visited upon the offending person. it might be a day, a week, a month later, but michael got even.the problem for loomis was that no one ever observed the boy doing it directly. one day, as the boys were watching television in the lounge, a fifteen-year-old got up and turned the sound lower. michael rose and turned it up again. the other boy turned it lower again. michael accepted the situation with a resigned shrug. that evening, as the boy was showering, the water turned scalding. EVERYONE KNEW WHO WAS BEHIND IT. yet apparently michael had not left his room.what doubly disturbed loomis was that subtly but definitely, the boy was capturing the leadership of the juvenile ward, because no one dared to challenge him. everyone, staff and inmates alike, indulged him, and so he pretty much got his way. ( richards & carpenter, pp. 33–35, 1979 )

CLASSIFICATION: disorganized killer. takes few precautions.
MODUS OPERANDI: hunter / prey mentality of stalking and killing. methodical violence devolving into brutalism.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: kitchen knife; whatever is available / weapon of opportunity.
METHODS [ most common ]: stabbing, strangulation, blunt force trauma.
NO. OF VICTIMS [ deceased ]: six ( by the end of the first spree ); approx. fifty ( by the end of the second spree )
VICTIMS [ survived ]: laurie strode ( halloween, 1978 ); allyson nelson ( 2021 )
INITIAL CHARGE: first degree murder ( for the death of judith margaret myers )
SENTENCE: indefinite treatment at smith's grove sanitarium for the criminally insane. to be retried and sentenced as an adult if not released by the age of twenty-one.

REASON FOR ESCAPING: impending adult trial and sentencing ( 1978 ). compelled by the voice in his head, which is strongest and most influential on and leading up to halloween. compulsive need to return home ( 2018 ).
REASON FOR KILLING: unclear to attending psychiatrists. curse, confounded by mental illness, obsession, and a predilection towards violence. as speculated by dr. loomis, michael is the manifestation of pure evil.
NOTABLE FEATURES: wears a mask during killings, to which he seems to hold some level of attachment.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS: does not take trophies from victims. has no prior connection to or emotional impetus towards victims ( other than laurie strode ). makes no effort to conceal his identity or cover up his tracks. knife patterns indicate ambidexterity.

OBSESSION: in all facets of his life, michael displays an inclination towards obsession and hyperfixation. in those regularly diagnosed with obsessive personality disorders, the afflicted individual feels violated by an intrusion of sensations and images that they can no longer control. for michael, these images are memories of vengeance and murder that belong to enda — the originator of the curse. while michael experienced similar discomfort towards these intrusive thoughts / images in childhood, he gradually dissociates from any feelings of shame or anxiety associated with his obsessions. in these moments, individuals feel that they are unable to control their behaviour. because michael does not experience emotions or morality in the same way as other people, he does not feel embarrassment. he simply persists and acts on these obsessive tendencies. his actions seem strange to onlookers, as there appears to be no apparent reason for his behaviour. in practice, his obsessions fuel his vindictiveness and desire to get even. it also manifests in his pursuit of victims, most notably ...  **==LAURIE STRODE:==** michael finds himself drawn to laurie strode the moment that he sees her through the window of a door. he does not know her and does not care to; simply put, laurie reminds him of his first victim — judith — and judith is a stand-in for the original victim of the evil that has made its home in michael. in many ways, michael's fixation on laurie is what inevitably results in his downfall. after she ( and samuel loomis ) subdue him through multiple stab and gunshot wounds, the obsession becomes more personal. it becomes rooted in vindictiveness. he spends forty years waiting to enact revenge, and when dr. sartain brings them face to face, he decimates her entire family.

SELECTIVE MUTISM: in his younger years, including much of his time at smith's grove, michael was charming, talkative, and inquisitive; however, as he grew older and the voice in his head — compounded by the anti-social and obsessive personality disorders — grew louder, he began to speak less and less frequently. as he gradually withdrew further into himself, his actions guided by compulsion and a voice that was not his own, he no longer felt the need to speak. in addition to this, as the patients and staff of smith's grove became more subservient to him, he learned that he did not need to speak to get his way. his unnerving presence, capacity for violence and revenge, and ability to avoid consequences breed complicity. michael's mutism is the result of 1) losing himself and becoming the abstract of a person, and 2) understanding his place in the food chain — as an apex predator who does not need to communicate.==CURSE== / ==MANIFESTATION OF EVIL:== the curse that would come to plague michael myers has its origins in a foggy vale in gaelic ireland. on the evening of samhain, a young man named enda, driven by obsession and revenge, brutally murdered a young couple. the villagers responded in kind, tearing him apart limb by limb. only his head and heart were preserved and buried at the foot of the hill of fiends, where cowards and outcasts are left to rot, unblessed. the shaman cursed enda's spirit, proclaiming that 'thy soul shall roam the earth till the end of time, reliving thy foul deed and thy foul punishment.' once enda's head and heart rotted away, the curse inhabited other bodies. from time to time, the innocent frolic of halloween was shattered by some brutal and inexplicable crime, and the original spirit of the celebration was brought home to a horrified world. then the people would lock their doors. EXPANDED ON IN THE FULL BIOGRPAHY.

he had known judith was screaming because he saw her lips moving, but he heard nothing but the roar of the grown-up voice in his ears, telling him to kill her! kill her! kill her! he remembered the heat of her blood as it splashed his hands, and the strangely familiar smell of it.he remembered looking at her almost unrecognizable remains on the floor and hearing the little-boy voice saying, uh-oh, you're gonna get in a lot of trouble when mommy and daddy get home. and that's just what happened.and now the voice was talking to him again, and it was almost the same way except that he was a grown-up himself now, and he was a big and strong as his father, and this time nobody would be able to take him away send him someplace. ( richards & carpenter, pp. 100–101, 1979 )

here you will find a description of the origin of the curse, its impact on michael as a young child, and the death of judith myers. i also touch on the subsequent trial and sentencing, as well as michael's time at smith's grove. literally yoinked the entire first section from the book. this way nobody else has to pay universal studios just to understand the absolute fuckery that is the origins of michael myers' friendly neighbourhood inside voice. as of october 28th, 2021, this page is still under construction.

HALLOWEEN'S CURSE

The horrors started on the eve of Samhain, in a foggy vale in Northern Ireland, at the dawn of the Celtic race. And once started, it trod the earth forevermore, reeking its savage suddenly, swiftly, and with incredible ferocity. Then, its lust sated, it shrank back into the mists of time for a year, a decade, a generation perhaps. But it slept only and did not die, for it could not be killed. And on the eve before Samhain it would stir, and if the lust were powerful enough, it would rise to fulfill the curse invoked so many Samhains before. Then the people would bolt their doors. Scant good it did them, for the thing laughed at locks and bolts, and besides, there were the unwary. Always the unwary.Samhain, the druid festival of the dead. The summer had passed and so too had that outburst of early fall warmth. On hillsides, and in the caves and daub-and-wattle huts, great fires were lit to which the spirits of the departed were invited by their kinsmen to warm themselves, to be cheerful before the snows blanketed the earth. Druid priests divined who would live and die in the coming year, who would marry, bear children, wax rich, enjoy good health. And they attempted to hold at bay, through sacrifices and other rites, the witches and goblins that ran amok at that time, stealing infants, destroying crops, killing farm animals... and sometimes worse.Deirdre was the third and youngest daughter of the Druid King Gwynwyll. Her hair was sandy brown with amber highlights, her eyes sea green, her complexion cream and wild rose. She was already taller than her older sisters, and her early development had been the cause of much concern in the tribal community. The other virgins tittered with envy. The married women
voiced disapproval and counseled her mother to marry her off before the girl yielded to her budding impulses. The young warriors eyed her yearningly, and the old warriors thought forbidden thoughts and reflected on their faded memories.
His name was Enda. He was fifteen, and he loved Deirdre with a secret passion that tortured him and at night caused him to cry out in his sleep. When it became rumored that Deirdre‘s father, the king, was preparing to offer her hand in marriage, Enda consulted his kinsmen and asked if they thought his suit would be looked upon in favor. He suspected what the answer would be but his longing overcame his embarrassment.“Ho! Deirdre marry you?” his father cackled. “With your shriveled arm and your twitching mouth?” For Enda presented himself wrong end first when his mother birthed him, and
the midwives made a botch of his delivery.
“She would as soon marry my goat!” howled his uncle.“Or Bulech!” His brother added, pointing to the runty dog worrying a greasy bone in the corner of their hut.“Besides,” said his father, “I’m told she is the betrothed of Cullain.”“Now there’s a lad worthy of that wench’s pretty hole!” His uncle burst out, raising his wineskin to his fat lips, and they continued to discuss Deirdre’s charms as Enda retreated
miserably into the cold night.
The boy suffered tortures such as only the adolescent can. At length, he determined on a plan. If he could somehow get directly to Deirdre, he would convince her that though he is ill-favored physically, he was in every other respect a fitting candidate for her hand. This was easier said than done, however, because virgins were closely watched by their mothers or by truculent warrior brothers. Nevertheless, one day Enda seized an opportunity when Deirdre went
to fetch water from the stream at the foot of the hill. He followed her furtively, darting from tree to tree until he found her stooped over the stream, singing softly to herself as the water filled her clay pitchers.
“Deirdre?” He called timidly. She turned and gasped, eyes round with fright. “You! What do you want?” Her body tensed, and she seemed ready to bolt.“I.. I want to...” The panic in her face alarmed him. He had expected to startle her, but had not imagined she would greet him with such revulsion. He stepped forward, hand extended
pacifically. But she jumped back, misinterpreting the gesture. She stumbled, almost falling into the stream, and Enda moved swiftly to rescue her.
“No!” she shrieked. “Get away from me, monster!” She found her feet and burst into a run, crying, “Help! Help! He means to kill me!”Enda’s body had been deformed at birth, but not until that moment had his soul been formed. And now it was Samhain, and Enda humiliated beyond reason stood on the perimeter of the celebrants dancing and chanting around the bonfire. In his left hand he held a fat wineskin, from which he drank often. In his right he held a foot-long butcher blade which he used to cut the throats of pigs and chickens.
His eyes were fixed bitterly on the figures of Deirdre and Cullain, whirling exuberantly around the fire, to the immense approval of the tribe. For their betrothal had been announced, to the joy and relief of all.
Enda’s legs shook and his body trembled in the cold night, though the heat of the fire was intense. And when the couple pirouetted past him once more, he leapt like a wildcat on his twin prey. Unarmed, their elbows linked, they didn't have a chance. Enda’s blade sliced easily through Cullain’s jugular and windpipe. His legs kicked in a grotesque finale to his dance of life. Then he fell like a slaughtered bull, dragging Deirdre downward. Her head turned away, she laughed, believing that her drunken partner had merely stumbled. Enda’s blade caught her on her face, the same laughter that had mocked him after she had run safely into the arms of her tribesmen the day he had approached her at the stream. The highly honed weapon plunged into her breast up to the hilt. In the clamor, no one heard the explosion of wind from her lungs, the gurgle of blood, the whimper, or saw the look of dreadful recognition as the light faded from her eyes—except for Enda. The thrill of revenge was the last emotion Enda knew, for a moment later he was literally torn apart by the enraged tribe. Only his head and his heart were preserved, gathered up after the frenzy had subsided, at the request of the grieving king. After Deirdre and Cullain were buried
on the hallowed ground the following day, Enda’s head and heart were carried to the summit of the Hill of Fiends, where cowards and other outcasts were left to rot un-blessed. The king asked his shaman to pronounce a special curse over the remains of the vile murderer. “Thy soul shall roam the earth till the end of time, reliving thy foul deed and thy foul punishment and may the god Muck Olla visit every infliction upon thy spirit forevermore...”
The sky darkened and lightning flashed. The day suddenly grew black and cold, and out of nowhere gusts of snow lashed the tribal party. In the history of the tribe, it had never snowed so early in the year. Satisfied that Muck Olla had heard his prayer, the Shaman summoned his people to turn their backs on Enda and return to their bereft village...The celebration of Samhain’s eve was transmuted over the centuries. The invading Romans carried the tradition back from the English Isles with them in the form of the Harvest festival of Pomona, and the early Christians deemed their celebration Hallowmas. The popes of the Middle Ages consecrated November 1st as All Saints’ Day, and All Hallows’ Eve slurred into Halloween as the holiday was transmuted over the next millennium. With the coming of modern civilization, the superstitions and traditions of the original festival lost their meaning and vitality. Token recognition could be seen in the custom of lighting candles in jack-o’-lanterns, hanging effigies of witches and goblins outside homes, and playing good-natured pranks that were a feeble cry of the mayhem of the old times. Children paraded about in costumes whose significance hand long ago lost their correspondence to the terror of evil that had once gripped the world at the onset of winter. Halloween, like many of the holidays, had become an empty shame.Except that from time to time, the innocent frolic of All Hallow Even was shattered by some brutal and inexplicable crime, and the original spirit of the celebration was brought home to a horrified world. Then the people would bolt their doors.Scant good it did them... and besides, there were always the unwary.

HALLOWEEN ( 1978 ): follows the events of the first / original movie. michael escapes from smith's grove and flees to haddonfield in a bid to return to the scene of a crime he had committed fifteen years prior. here, he lays eyes on laurie strode; leading up to the night of halloween, he follows her curiously and — goaded on by the voice in the back of his head — prepares to kill her. it is during this time that he breaks into the hardware store and acquires the mask that would eventually become synonymous with him. he haunts the streets of haddonfield, familiarizing himself with streets and houses that inhabit distant memories. as night settles on the evening of halloween, he embarks on a killing spree that leaves three dead, multiple people traumatized, an entire town struggling to comprehend the meaning of evil. after a formidable struggle, laurie strode survives and michael — overcome by the combined efforts of strode and loomis — disappears into the night.SMITH'S GROVE / PRE-CANON: ages six through twenty-one. takes place prior to the events of halloween, 1978. much of this verse features a verbal michael. following the brutal stabbing-death of judith myers, michael is sentenced to smith's grove sanitarium for the criminally insane. he brings evil behind the walls of smith's grove, setting prisoners and staff alike on edge. michael is placed under the care of samuel loomis and, until his escape, engages in a subtle game of cat-and-mouse in which he acts out in subtle ( yet damaging ) ways that ensure he escapes punishment — all while slowly degrading loomis' reputation as a psychiatrist. an insidious presence within the institution, michael consolidates power until he constructs smith's grove into what loomis refers to as "his own little empire." as the years pass, the thorazine injections become more frequent and instances of verbal communication become less frequent. the voice in his head grows louder still, urging him to leave / to return to haddonfield / to enact unimaginable horrors. michael bides his time until shortly after his twenty-first birthday. knowing that he will soon be retried as an adult and possibly sent elsewhere — thereby losing the power he has over smith's grove — he gives into the urge to kill and escapes on the very night he was meant to be transferred.

SMITH'S GROVE / MID-CANON: ages twenty-one through sixty-one. takes place between halloween 1978 and 2018. following the first haddonfield killing spree, michael is subdued, re-arrested, and sent back to smith's grove. he is retried, as an adult, for judith's murder; he is also tried and found guilty for the deaths of five additional individuals — three teenagers, a mechanic, and a security guard. a state-appointed attorney pleads the mental disorder defence; he is handed multiple consecutive life sentences and sent back to smith's grove. more than ever, he is kept docile by thorazine injections. as the years roll by, michael seemingly becomes more and more complacent, ceasing to speak entirely and barely responding to external stimuli. during this time, he fantasizes vividly about exacting revenge on laurie strode — the one who got away. samuel loomis retires, and michael's care is handed to ranbir sartain. like loomis, sartain believes that michael is the manifestation of pure evil; however, sartain becomes enthralled rather than appauled, and his fascination soon leads to an obsession that michael is able to manipulate to his benefit.HALLOWEEN / KILLS ( 2018 + 2021 ): on the night of his transfer to another institution, michael — assumed-to-be docile after forty years of quiet patience — is set free by his deluded psychiatrist, dr. sartain. he reclaims his mask and sets off to haddonfield, leaving a sea of corpses in his wake. after facing off with the strode family, michael is trapped in laurie strode’s burning basement. the shape, however, persists. it never stops coming. escaping from the house, michael continues on a spree of unparalleled brutality, inciting the residents of haddonfield and polluting the town with a fear that only serves to strengthen him. without sartain to interfere, michael pursues his most intrinsic desire: to return home to lampkin lane. despite being beaten, shot, and stabbed into submission, michael does not stop. halloween night proves just one thing: you can’t kill the boogeyman. ( note: in this verse, michael refers to himself as the shape and foregoes gendered pronouns in favour of "it" ).

note: if you write a character from any of the movies i don't include in my canon, it's all chill. i have seen them ( at my core i am nothing more than a halloween franchise simp ) and i'm more than happy to plot something out. season of the witch verse when?

indefinitely age twenty-one. following the first haddonfield killing spree, michael disappears into the night. yet the night is not so kind as to swallow the brutality of an ill-fated hallow's eve. with an appetite wetted by wanton violence and freshly sprung blood, a fog black as pitch envelops both michael and laurie. wounded and weakened, he loses consciousness. when he awakes, it is safely behind the walls of 45 lampkin lane — home, where he once longed to return and now can never leave.

the entity did not need to persuade michael to submit to a life predicated on endless killing. he complies willingly, taking this opportunity to act on his obsessions without repercussion. in this reality, laurie succumbs to his blade over and over again. the chase never ends. and yet, michael — like the survivors themselves — begins to lose himself entirely. the longer he remains within the realm of the entity, the further he becomes divorced from himself. with each passing trial, michael myers fades into the background of a mind cloaked in darkness, replaced instead by the abstract concept of the shape. he cannot be bargained with. he cannot be reasoned with. there is no remorse / little chance of survival. he does not stop, ever, until the survivors have either died or escaped. ( note: in this verse, michael will occassionaly refer to himself as the shape and forego gendered pronouns in favour of "it" ).in this verse, he is constantly as strong and durable as he was on halloween nights in the real world. these powers, however, are now the result of the entity rather than his curse. he is also significantly taller in this realm than in his own. dbd devs made that choice and i'm not gonna argue with them tbh. tall michael rights ig. idk why tho.

to be written out on an as-needed basis.
